I am not your typical painting contractor.  I am an artist in the true sense, being a sculptor and a canvas painter.  My parents and extended family were professional artists, woodworkers and craft people. This combination of art and working with my hands was passed down to me.  I am also passionate about home design and aesthetics. A properly designed living space makes it a special place to live, entertain, and relax.  It all starts with color.   As an artist, I think in terms of color and composition. As a part-time furniture maker, stone carver and woodworker,  I bring a level of precision and craftmanship to each room I cover.  My process is deliberate, careful, and precise, treating each room as if it were my own.  As noted above, as part of my services, I provide consult, advice, and guidance on colors. I keep current on the latest color trends. This is optional,  but if you need a second option or just prespective I am happy to share my thoughts. 
Prior to painting I worked in business in various industries. This included working for a nano technology company that produced additives for paints and coatings.  This work included partnering with companies such as Pittsburgh Paints, Behr, Sherman Williams, Benjamin Moore and BASF. I traveled the world to the paint production facilities and worked closely with their chemical engineers. This provides an understanding of surface coating technologies and paint charactistics.
